My sister is a total bitch.

Nothing has really p*ssed me off today. Sorry for your sore knees Darcey and RedAlix, your busy-ness Jon, any idiot parkers or idiot drivers in general actually, pervy men and people that want to rip you off.

Two of my friends are doing that Clean 9 thing from Forever Living. It's well expensive tho.

I'm sure it does.

Must be a bit of a pain working behind a bar, whatever your sex.

meh

you accept it, along with the stench of beer after you clean the lines ones a week and the smell of smoke (or used to) before the ban came in (wish I worked when it had!)

Yah, I know that. I used to work in betting shops. Loved the job except for the smell of smoke (and I did smoke then too) and being threatened by fools. Luckily for me I had a few regulars always in there that would never have allowed any harm to come to me (or any of the girls).

Today's annoying episode was driving to Sainsbury's to do the shopping and use my Shopitize app to claim some discounts. Got there and realised my phone battery was dead so couldn't see what was on offer

Then a silly woman who was parked on the opposite side of the road whilst I was driving down it, pulled out from her parking space - she realised what she had done but didn't stop, just barged through and avoided eye contact with me!

Tried to claim my first Swagbucks £5 Paypal payment but it kept coming back to me saying I hadn't verified my Paypal account (I have been using Paypal for years) so I had to phone them and they kept me on the line for ages to some American lady who talked really fast and I didn't really understand what she was saying. Anyway all got done and dusted and Swagbucks went through. However there's something else now, that I have to do - enter a direct debit code to link my bank account but there's nowhere to enter the code...so it will be back on the phone with them tomorrow!

If it's not a freephone number then make sure you use "say no to 0870"

Dopey me used the 0800 but it was chargeable from my mobile. As I was at work and no landline I had to use it - BUT if I'd looked more carefully would have found the 'calling from abroad' number so I will use that tomorrow. UPDATE - whilst writing this THEY called me and have confirmed I don't have to do anything about entering a code now. So I won't have to call them tomorrow.

In that case you need the 0800 wizard - turns 0800 numbers into landline numbers you can use on your mobile and it'll just use your inclusive minutes :)

Yep - not sure if they have a website. The say no to 0870 is an app too, but they also have a website. I use both these apps regularly.

Thank you so much that will be really handy

So, I'm back. queen81 did you set this thread up especially for me?!

Anyway - latest drama is that I've noticed two very small amounts of money about to be taken from my bank account under the guise of 'itunes'. Transactions apparently took place on 21 and 24 August but will come out tonight or tomorrow. On both of these dates I downloaded new, but free, apps which when you download always remind you have to have an account attached to them. However, yesterday with the PayPal (Swagbucks payout) drama, they set up a 'one off' direct debit test in order to verify my account (why this had to be done I don't know, been with them for 8 years, but have recently added an email address to the PayPal account which is the same email address I use for surveys etc) so I'm wondering if a couple of other sneaky payments were made whilst that was being set up (although the dates wouldn't coincide I suppose).

Anyway had to check my iTunes account to see if anything was down as having been purchased. as I have an Apple ID to log in I didn't realise I had to have a separate iTunes - so I was looking all over the Apple website. Tried to download iTunes and it wouldn't let me, had to research on how to get round that and ask on here (thank you jon). Finally had to shut down my browser etc and try to download the program again that way, this time it let me. Turns out that I've made no payments through iTunes with the apps I have so it makes this all the more stranger....

Anyway, feel like i'm repeating myself as already written about this on the earn money online bit.

I know i'm moaning but hopefully it will come in useful if it should happen to someone else further down the line.

I always seem to have problems with technology, it's never straightforward!!

Ah, I haven't had the time to read up on that yet, what with all the drama...good that you've got an interview though!
