I also have a referral to Freetrade now if anybody wants it. Just follow the link and signup, then deposit a minimum of £1. Once the £1 hits your account you will be allocated a free share that will be revealed in 7-10 days. Please let me know either by commenting on here or PMing me if you use this.

Did somebody here use my referral? My Freetrade account says that somebody has, but they haven't topped up! All you need to transfer is £1.

How do you get further referrals once you've done one? Do you get another one after your first referral gets their first share revealed?

What's all this "investing with no fees"? How do they make their money? Do they take it off the spread? Do they have a website too or is it just an app?

They offer a paid for investment ISA. £3 a month I believe and quick trades which cost £1. Perhaps more things in the future. A lot of these fintechs run off investors money for a long time before turning profitable... if at all. Particularly in the amount of free shares they’ve given away. I wouldn’t be surprised if they implement some sort of limit soon.
