I've just signed and returned the initial documents just waiting for next step. I've never done this kind of work before so I am a bit nervous but looking forward to the experience of training and hopefully getting some work

I have a whole day for revising tomorrow, going to read the guidelines twice and watch the video twice and take my qualifying test on Thursday. :-\.

Apparently I can't do the test on a Wednesday as that's when they update their systems.

Good luck. The video is good and worth a watch. My advice is to really understand, and USE the matrix. Don't go with your gut instinct... The matrix is king for getting those correct hits.

I sent mine back the same day and also haven't heard anything yet so don't panic.

I've just read the guidelines for part two of the iSoft tests.

I think I need to chill! After 7 days of studying, tests/exams, my eyes are turning a bit red

Time for me to get in the sun and mow the lawn! I'll start this test later or tomorrow. I need a break

Just done the final test for isoft failed spectacularly with only 56%, I had their guidelines at the side of me and found a lot of them did not even match up to the answers on the test and with their examples. So annoyed with the waste of my time. l

Hopefully will hear back from Appen and lionbridge

weird as I got good marks in training...

it all depends what queries you get, if you get awkward ones then there's not much hope...

even if I passed I doubt id last long......

I'm really sorry to hear that. I haven't started my second test yet, maybe tomorrow.

I hope you don't feel too discouraged. These iSoft tests seem very, very fussy to me. I understand the thought process, but the margin for error seems harshly tight. In many cases when I did the first test, I found myself dumbfounded as to why my hit wasn't 'correct'.

I'll be reading through all the guidelines again tonight, and watching the video, and making more notes. Normally, I find I do pretty well at things when I give something 100%.

I might just write the hit options on 'post it notes', stick them in a bag, and take the test like the lottery

yeah we have people on here who work for isoftstone - same as we have people (myself included) who work for other web search companies so that exams are passable even if the margin for error is very very very small

Will knuckle down and read thru everything thoroughly. Isn't thoroughly a funny looking word, I can't even remember the last time I typed it (had to do a quick check on spelling of it too)

I got 61/100 in the second test yesterday. Only 4 short of passing

I will be looking deeper into the uTest work now.

They will probably let you still take the qualifying test, they let me and I only got 60% in the second set.
