It's good that they have closed it, but I would keep a close eye on the account just in case, it wouldn't surprise me if they still lifted the money out despite closing the account.OK. Anyone having problems logging onto Appen, been trying for past 2 days and getting the following message

I know they've changed the Project interface on there. I've been getting all sorts of messages. Maybe the project you did has now been completed.
I logged in this morning and no issues. A couple of months ago they did remove my account in error so I had to contact support and they added it back within a week. Had a similar issue as well like this one and removed from favourites and it worked after.

Thanks I will leave it and try again. It was only last week that I did the job and was just trying to check my invoice to see if it was added on.
I see what you mean as I got the same message when I tried to login this morning. Haven't had it before and it was working fine yesterday. I can't even raise a ticket for it.

I have tried a different browser and still getting the message. I cannot raise a ticket either, very annoying.
I managed to raise a ticket by clicking on a link sent to me in a previous email. That took me to the relevant page.
I've just logged on and had to agree to another contractor agreement as though I had only just started. It let me in and now it has a new interface so I am guessing they were doing some updates in the background.

I'm still unable to login and keep getting Access Denied. All they said was make sure you are using Chrome which I am. Hopefully it will resolve itself.
Might be worth trying on a different device just to check there isn't a cookie stored or browser history that is preventing you from accessing the site. If you can access on there then it's probably something in the browsing history/favourites that needs removing.
I've had a couple of emails from Appen recently of the "You might be suitable for" variety (paraphrasing). I'll probably apply but there have been one or two instances where I've been told I was accepted and to sit back and wait for the pin number which never came. They say don't remind them regarding pin numbers but I did. Still was told to sit back and wait. It would be better not to be notified at all than to think I've got something and then be left in suspense. I'll still apply but I don't think I'll bank on anything from them till I have it in my hot little (figurative) hand.
I wonder how Appen will do now they have lost this contract...

Thanks. Interesting re Appen's chunk of Google revenue. Don't regret leaving, although 'the other company' doesn't have much work either (for me anyway). Thank goodness for Prolific. I'm doing a lot of AI stuff for them at the mo.I wonder how Appen will do now they have lost this contract...

Sorry do you mean you’re just getting a lot of studies on Prolific? Or do you do something else for them?
As far as I'm aware, I'm not doing anything particular for them but I do seem to be on a rolling AI ranking thing with them (as well as the usual bits and bobs that come along).
I don't know if a team of sorts has been carved out or it's anybody's game. Last month was >£200 and this month so far is around £120 - and that's pretty typical for me lately. It's paying my dental bills.
It's why I gave up. The work just seemed to die almost overnight and looking at Reddit/Trustpilot, things don't seem to have changed.
