Hi guys does anyone have information on how long it takes for Appen to get back to you after you have applied for a job. I signed up ages ago and have applied for a couple of jobs, but have yet to hear back, and the job application just says submitted. This is over 2 months now. Any feedback is much appreciated. Or maybe an alternative.
I am in the application process with them at the moment. I first applied a few weeks ago and it was about a week later when I was invited to the pre screen test. I did that a few days ago and now I am waiting to hear about some work. I think it varies for each person so it is difficult to say how soon they will get in touch with you. I have been wondering the same.
Anyone else got an invite to do this?

I got the same email but the link only took me to acknowledge a document which doesn't have the name of the project on it so not sure what it's for but something is pending so I guess I'll just wait and see. Fingers crossed.

Maybe just me but I wondered if the task itself is some kind of exam, give it to all of us and pick out the people they want from that? Unless they normal have tasks that only run for a day?

I just woner if anybody is working on SEO top trasaction queries project? I just received a email yesterday, loged in and acknowldged, gave them my payment details and now i begin to work. Because this is the first time i am working with Appen so i don't know how they count my hours working on this project. Also in the email they said the project will last approximately 1 day (with maximum 8hours/day) but in statement of work they said it could be 6 months. I am confused.

My appen global login says I'm assigned to 4 projects. I can't login to any other part of appen as the username isn't valid anywhere else and when i create a support ticket the answer is sent to appen online which i can't access as not registered to that part.. nightmare
So can you actually complete work from the appen global part? I can see two task which says speach collection and this new raven seo is pending.

I am completing work from the Appen global part. They say have 2 assigned projects but i can actually see SEO project.
