This app sounds interesting! I might have to give it a try...

I just started with Roamler yesterday. Seems a bit like a scanger hunt with your smartphone, or maybe Pokemon Go in supermarkets. Still wading through basic multiple choice question & picture tasks to earn enough points to do paid tasks.

I am always here for making money off my mobile phone. Thanks for sharing your experience - I'll give it a crack and if it's not worth it I'll try something else!

I'll put you down for 49% of the funding as well! Haha.
I think it's a good idea

I would make it a website, not an app (it just needs to be mobile responsive!)

There's only, what, 4-5 mobile apps out there in the UK and if you could get them on board to share their map data in some way it probably wouldn't be THAT big of a thing to set up

Just done my first paid task today - potentially a whole £2 if accepted. It involved taking photos and answering some questions about tea on supermarket shelves. Still need to earn a few more points to make it to level 2, when further paid tasks are supposedly available.

Keep going with it. I make at least a £100 a month from roamler and don’t put in a lot of effort for it

Now that sounds like a plan. And it’d help avoid all the ongoing maintenance problems with having to update apps for each new Android/iOS version. Would have to have a section for Android users and a section for IOS users due to T360 of course...

Thank you! So I'm now 3 days and 10 tasks in. I had to redo one (submitted a photo of a Tweet on a screen, had to redo with a screen shot instead) and have earned £2. Only 2 tasks were in a supermarket, all the rest at home. Crucially, if the last task is accepted, I'll breach the 500 points to qualify for more paid tasks.

If you enjoy lurking around supermarkets furtively taking photographs of pet food/chocolate/newspapers then you'll love Roamler. I'm happy to do it for extra cash but my friend hated it and gave up, and then still complains she has no money.

I don't mind taking photos in shops - think I'm used to doing it for money saving posts on my blog! Usually find it hard enough to track down supermarket staff when I need them.

Is it just my region or has anyone else notice jobs seem to be appearing and disappearing at the moment? Those LIdl jobs appeared and disappeared about three times over the last couple of days. Now back with just one left that is miles away from me. At 7am today there were a load of Tesco drink jobs on there. I waited until 8 because I wasn't able to do them until later in the day. Went back to accept a couple and now they have disappeared again.

Yes, happens to me a lot! And it's always the jobs near me that vanish. There only appears to be one other Roamler in my area and their points don't go up so I don't really understand why it's happening.

I dont think its other people taking the jobs. More like Roamler switching them on and off for some reason.

Probably very low quota jobs, they do that quite often. Keep in mind a low quota job covers the whole UK... you may see a task in Brighton and someone in Edinburgh and Kendal may do the 2 tasks Roamler wants... fastest finger first here

Had nothing on mine today, already done the newspaper checks and they don't reappear. And those lengthy tedious at home checks that I was rejected on have all gone too so someone must have managed them.
