That is certainly possible... I to be honest can't imagine why anyone would choose iPhone over android...simply because typing on that tiny screen is a nightmare (I know the newer I phones are bigger now)and the picture quality is far lower (at least than my S7 anyway)

[member=2550]MarthaMead[/member] unfortunately the task apps game is orientated more to the needs of the client rather than user...if I want 1000 results to an audit as quickly as possible I use the app which has more users to get that result quickest...business is business the client wants their data in the shortest time frame at the lowest cost to them....I don't follow you with other apps having levels/restrictions to amount of jobs....the only app I am aware of with levels is Roamler but that is only restricting how many concurrent tasks can be reserved a level 1 can reserve the same tasks as someone at highest level...of all the main apps roamler is the only one that has levels...my point is that T360 would retain its clients and very likely gain many more if it were to open to all ...given T360s reputation as probably the best in this field

I get what you say about there being an influx of new users...personally I don't see that as a terrible thing... T360 is certainly the best app in terms of payment and task simplicity...but they get noticeably less and less tasks whereas you see an increase in all the duo platform apps...this is because the client wants the data quickly and since T360 severely limits it's pool of taskers clients go elsewhere...I have spied 4 major T360 tasks now being done on other apps in last 2 months...it is a bit of a two edged sword...less users more potential for earning but if they got an android platform they would have more users but also more clients...and more tasks. As for FA they have various versions all over the world and it is all field based tasks so I would expect the new UK one to keep along that line...indeed today I saw the first shop based task on the app £11 a pop....actually just had a look as I type and tons of £4 store audit jobs have been added.

Ok.. will have to disagree. I think once people discover T360 they don't leave it. Use other apps sure.. but it would be unwise to give up on T360 unless they went bust. There can be quiet times but that can seem irrelevant against earnings during busy times. I think it's great if you can travel all around scooping lots of jobs but defiantly for those who don't do that, it would be a terrible thing for earnings. And since T360 doesn't really have a reservation/limitation system in place a lot of jobs would get picked up even earlier than they already do. I doubt the same quality than with less but more dedicated/reliable taskers. I certainly didn't realise they severely limited their pool of taskers... iPhone is popular with plenty users. Android is only more popular because it's endless phones and would = endless taskers.

Roamler and such can duo platforms because it's impossible to earn the same as T360. And I bet if they do develop for Android they would definitely have to start restricting people with levels and such like all the other duo apps. I don't see it being as open as it today. The best thing would be to keep it Apple and those people who want to earn should invest in an iPhone 5 or greater. I tell all my friends about this but they are skeptical or love their Samsung too much. There would be no point getting excited if it went to Android because 'everybody' would be doing it and all the glossy earnings posted online will no longer count.

I said this several times on TMS and really don't like to repeat myself but Task360 has been rubbish for me. Even when I lived in Manchester, I didn't have one single task from them.
The assumption that it is working for everyone is therefore not accurate. Same goes for Field agent.

Companies are likely to gain more clients when their user levels are higher and companies can dictate if they wish to see task results from different users. i.e. they can say one task for one user.

Anyone seen the mobile phone shops on Roamler, are they expecting people to do them for XP rather than actual money? I have read through the brief and can not see owt about pay, or am I missing something?

Too many people are jumping on the bandwagon, a lot of comments on forums I've seen are saying that the pay for shops has decreased a lot.

There is actually surprisingly few regular users on roamler... they get loads of people signing up who either don't progress past level 1 and those that do get put off by the expectation of tasks for such poor money... I started off hammering Roamler..up to level 7 in no time then cut right down on the tasks I do due to making far more for less intensive work on other apps... I get badgered every week by Roamler to do tasks...but rarely touch it (though they had a run of easy high paying tasks in January that I made about £400 on) but I do keep an eye on Roamler and see the same jobs sitting ungrabbed for ages

Hi, I'm new to the forum and newish to the site having been a bit of a lurker. I don't know if this has been covered earlier in the thread, but has anyone got any tips for taking photos in shops discreetly and has anyone ever been approached by staff? I've done my first couple of Roamler tasks and I feel quite obvious taking photos of aisle ends. Thanks

On iPhone you can use the buttons on your headphones to take the photo so it just looks like you are listening to music!!

As.Jon says above... also... stick headphones in and pretend to be having a call... if you watch follk genuinely doing this they hold their phone up at a similar posture for taking a photo... getting caught is very very rare tbh.. ..someone once posted that after getting caught they just fessed up and even told the security guard that he must be great at his job!!.top tip...make sure your flash is off before taking pic and volume down on phone so it doesn't do the camera shutter sound (headphones will do that too) if you cant get the shot ...people in way... don't hang around...go a wander and come back.

Just do it and walk off like you don't care. I used to work in a supermarket and wouldn't have given a t*ss if we had a mystery shopper slating our store, and I'm sure everybody else working there was the same (barring managers of course).

Thanks guys. Thats helpful advice. Survived my first paid job. The next thing I have to work out for myself is how not to spend more than I earn whilst I'm in the shop! :)

I always make sure I got my earphones in, if anyone talks to me or asks questions I try pretend to be listening to music. Only been caught once by lady in a local convenience store. She said she saw my phone on cameras that I was taking pics. Told her she was breaching my privacy looking at my phone! Lol

The current supermarket promotions job at just £2 is a joke. They want you to check promos on 3 different product groups. I would say each group was worthy of being a £2 job in itself.

People will do them though because they are in supermarkets so they will get done as people do their regular shop. Which I guess is the point, and Roamler know that hence the low pay but doesn't help those of us who like to travel about doing a few jobs each week.

That is the Roamler way sadly... but, not many actually get done... this is why you see many jobs go up in payment near the end because they haven't covered required quotas
