According to my tracker, I did the work last Thursday (13th Aug) and got paid $0.80 on Saturday 15th Aug, then $3.20 18th Aug. I am still waiting for payment for work I did 10th/11th/12th for a different job. Does that help.
At first I was only paid for valid tasks. After 4 months, I’m now paid for every task. I believe it’s different for everyone as we all get offered different jobs based on our history/strengthssome people on reddit are reporting not being paid for some work they do, work not up to standard, do people on here trust neevo to be fair and pay? I've done a few days solid work with them and I'm not entirely confident in continuing with the job
So yesterday I got an e-mail to complete Mean Opinion Score Testing. I did around 50 - 55 of job one, but then at some point it stated job wasn't available. I messaged them as I wasn't sure if it was a glitch with the site or my performance. They said I had been blocked from the job, but I would get paid for my valid work. I then asked for a reason for future reference, and they stated they would find out and get back to me, but I haven't heard anything. The website is constantly crashing on me and the tasks take ages to load. I've only really just started on the site and so far, it's not given a good first impression, so I might step back for now, especially as people are saying their not getting paid.
Its great when it works but its shit when it doesnt and they wont help you classic Gig economy model. A month ago i got invited onto a "secret task" because the quality of my work was so so good according to them. I did 500 tasks for 0.17c and then 3 weeks later they paid me for 5% of the tasks which is awful. So im messaging them now asking why and they just hide behind their alogorithm and terms of service. It feels shit to loose a days worth of paid work roughly 6 hours work but what can I do. I feel like taking them to the small claims court but the price of the admin fee of the small claims court is half the money im owed. Ive been working for Neevo for months now and this is the first time ive been majorly burned im suprised it took so long. Thier briefing process for tasks is so so shit.
Well that settles it then. I might stand back from the site and just see what happens. Time is money and I don't want to put more effort into the site if there's no guarantee I'm going to get paid. When I got kicked out for the MOS Testing, I was pretty surprised as I got 10/10 for the test and thought I was doing really well and they still haven't told me why I was blocked so the communication doesn't seem great. I hope you get it sorted and get back what you're owed.
Yeah its a tough one to take, I think one of the main issues is their briefing process is so bad. Like there is a new text audio correction task just gone live and ive passed their litte test 9/10. But the instructions on the left are exactly the same as the previous tasks that i failed on. They should be providing at least 30 example transcripts with the sound that can be played and the correct transcripts that we can read and troubleshoot and see how Neevo mark them. For example with this new round of transcriptions im hearing a lot of "Mehanical Clicks" as people pick up and put down the phone. I would like to see an example trancription where they mark it as Non Speech or Unintelligible or just dont include it in the trancription at all. Its criminal that they can allow someone to complete 15000 tasks of it and then at the end just say "didnt make quality quidelines"
I got that. I rarely do surveys for money, I'm not doing one for freeI have done some tasks with Neevo, and have been having problems.
I was going to ask you about been under paid for tasks, and failing the quality selection. This seems to have been discussed in the past. There allegedly seems to be some problem at Neevo. But then I received this email:
"
We'd like to ask why you did not participate in the “Speech Variant Collection Job”. If you have a moment to spare, would you be willing to answer a few questions?
Our short survey will take less than 4 minutes to answer.
Your feedback will help us improve your experience in Neevo.
Yes that click sound is nearly in every one, I have been marking it with the "Nonspeech" tag at the end as they are quite loud. But now I've just got the no tasks available button and I've only done a few hundred when there is meant to be thousands to do, so that's a bit weird.
I see, So youve either done 200+ incorrectly or I have. It would take them 5 minutes to listen to 10 recordings and say in the brief oh by the way when the recording ends there is a bleep we want you to mark each of these with a non speech tag. This company is a joke sometimes... I make money from them but they are a joke
Yes they could be a really good company if they did things properly, to have all the recordings have this noise on the end and not tell us what to mark it with is like you say a joke. is there tasks still available for you to do on this job?
I managed to do 250 and then the task disappeared. Its funny they said I was able to do 15,000 Maybe some people on here have done all of them leaving none for us haha
Has anyone tried the healthcare text elicitation collection? $0.08 (6p) to read a prompt and come up with and type five responses. If you can do a task a minute, you'd earn a whole £3.60 per hour - wonder why I'm giving this one a miss?!

I was offered a similar one but for cars/vehicles. Obviously I declined. The instructions for other tasks are SO unclear and they only seem to clarify them once you've been chucked off for not meeting 'quality standards'.Has anyone tried the healthcare text elicitation collection? $0.08 (6p) to read a prompt and come up with and type five responses.
