Are you still being asked the verification code frequently? Can I ask if you've already updated the app to the latest version? And if you have, has none of the updates made a difference in the frequency with which you're asked for the code?

Asking me more than 1 time after you already have my login details built into the app is more than is needed

Do it the first time someone signs in sure, but not every-time

Or you are doing is putting a barrier in and delaying them getting to the map to understand what is available which is not what you want as that map is your main selling point to get people to both keep the app and check it frequently

I'm sorry to hear that is still happening to you, but the latest updates should have fixed that. Could I please ask you to try and delete and reinstall Pickle on your phone and see if this behaviour persists?

Maybe i'm not being very clear on this

to me asking me more than one time to request a code, wait for text message to come, enter code, verify account, delete pointless text message is a barrier. It is a hoop for me to jump to before I can get to your content. You are trying to attract people to your service so the less hoop jumping available the better.

I don't understand what purpose it serves when other task based apps don't require this.

Thank you for letting me know. I understand your frustration and that is definitely something we want to avoid.

We have been in close contact with several of our users and have been listing the things they've suggested and feel could improve the app. We will add this issue to our wish list. Please be assured that we're taking all of the feedback very seriously and that we will be introducing changes in future updates to make Pickle more like the app our users want it to be.

When I have more news about the next update, I will let you know. In the meantime, please do share any other feedback or suggestions as this is a critical time for us to get things right for our users.

Stripe is the payment provider (similar to PayPal) that we partnered to to process all payments done through Pickle. It adds an extra layer of security for both NEEDs and DOs.

I just downloaded the app, I live in London so was expecting there to be quite a few jobs.

Rather disappointed that there is only 1 on there, £10 to buy some cheap IT equipment & deliver it?

Wondering if I am doing something wrong. I have verified my profile & got pic etc

Hi Lisa,

Thank you for installing Pickle and for your question. From your description, you have done everything right. We had quite a few other jobs available over the past week (you can check our Twitter and Facebook for some examples), but they tend to go fast.

As long as you have your job tracker set up (which I'm assuming you do), you'll receive alerts any time a new job is posted, so you don't have to keep checking the app.

As you expected, most jobs are located in London at the moment - though we've been having a few that can be done from home as well - so do expect so see more coming up soon.

Unfortunately we had to remove the Pickle app from the Google Play Store as it wasn't stable enough to use with the upgraded iOS version. Once we are able to upgrade the Android version, we'll make it available again, but we don't have a timeline yet. We have a form available on our website for those on Android devices to sign up to a waiting list.
