It boils down to understanding why we do something Jon, so why did I join Phoenix Trading, and can this business give me what I really want. It takes time to understand these things, working on myself and having a better understanding of how this business works. So £100 -£200 doesn't sound as much as to what I can earn, but wasn't so long ago I was earning a lot less. I believe I will earn more now, each month. Because I have more belief, more confidence, and as I focus more and more on my business I attract good things, appearing in the Mail on Sunday, receiving a £67 order, receiving praise and acknowledgment from Phoenix Trading Head Office.
The great thing about MLM businesses if worked correctly, they can provide a lifetime income even after retiring, so a good pension plan, plus we can leave it to our love ones, children etc so they can benefit from it during their lifetime.

As for moonpig, they may effect the sales of a High St shops, but Phoenix Trading continue to expand, here in the UK, France, Australia and New Zealand. I think it's because of the quality of the cards and they are very affordable.

Pheonix - How many hours per month do you put in to earn you £200 (or whatever the figure is)?

I'm very against MLM for many reasons, not least because a lot of the health product ones are a load of rubbish, but at least you seem to be selling something that is decent. I would never get into it myself, but I'm curious if nothing else about how much time and effort goes into this. I'm talking about everything here - the time to plan, decide where and who to sell to, promoting, the sale itself etc.

Just curious, if you're kind enough to offer up that information. :)

Never really thought about the hours Jon, I guess it should. I do spend time on the business every day, but I wouldn't say all day. So for instance on a Monday, Weds and Friday mornings I am out dropping off brochures to find more customers, with the preparation involved I would say I take about six to eight hours per week. Other times I will be sending orders, sorting out deliveries and delivering orders. I would say about five to six hours per week. Roughly 10 to 15 hours per week.
As for who to sell to, well basically anyone. I have customers in the estate where I live, and other estates nearby, plus customers in other parts of the UK. I love the challenge of finding customers, I also love the outdoors, so it's great to get out and gather customers. But I do also get orders via Facebook messenger, Twitter, E-mail and in the post.
On Facebook I find by messaging contacts and getting into a conversation I have received orders, where as if I put a picture on Facebook promoting the cards, I get no response. The lesson here is to add substance and value. Far better to get to know people first. :)

Is Juice+ the Forever Living one? I really want to try that, but can't justify paying out £100+ for the package. I don't mean try selling, just try the detox product. But, almost everyone I know that has tried the detox has then gone on to sell it. Why? Do you get offered a massive incentive or something once you've purchased?

Have to agree that Phoenix cards really are lovely. Great quality and lovely designs - have bought from them in the past as we had a rep on the pTA at school and she would donate a percentage of the commission to the school funds.

my problem is organisation - i'm just not organised to order my cards in advance. Usually it's more "aaarrggh Child is going to a birthday party this afternoon, need a card NOW!"

Coming from a health and fitness background, I can honestly tell you not to bother.

Juice+, Herbalife etc are absolute rubbish. Keep your money :)

Thanks for that, I appreciate it. I've never been swayed by Herbalife as I do similar but cheaper alternatives. But a few friends have done the Juice + and that sparked my interest. It is just so expensive tho, when Tesco sells Aloe Vera for sub £10 and even that is probably overpriced nonsense.

These products annoy me so much I can't explain. Mainly because when I try to warn people about them they don't believe me ("Well Joe Bloggs lost 45lbs in a minute using it") or they seem to and then buy them anyway. I guess people are desperate when it comes to these things so will try anything.

As far as Juice+ goes, there's loads I could say about why it's crap, but I won't bore you! What I would say is that you're just as well of buying a multivitamin from the supermarket and making sure you eat enough fruit and veg. :)

Ah, yes, I get it.

I believe you. I'm sceptical of most stuff but I know it's possible to lose weight quickly because I've done it using various methods (none I'd recommend). I think it's just desperation like you say. Exploitation, then.

We use Forever Living products. They do produce the best quality Aloe Vera in the World and has the seal of approval by the International Aloe Testing board. We drink Aloe Vera gel every day. It's a powder keg of nutrition, we just don't get enough nutrition in the normal foods we eat. We all need to take some form of supplement, aloe is best not only for its high nutrition content but also because it's a liquid and thus easier to digest in the system. I do find the products are expensive, Neal's Yard are a British Company producing natural and organic skincare products. We tend to use Neal's Yard for skincare products.
Caledonia1972, pleased you like the cards, but if you need a card urgently, you will find Phoenix Traders always keep a stock of cards at home for that reason.

My Andrew still has an account with them. Think it advisable to sign up to these sort of opportunities, Forever Living, Neal's Yard, that way we can get good quality healthcare and skincare products at wholesale prices.

I am a forever living distributor, before i joined the company i researched and i researched, why sign up to something and not do any research about the company or products ? We recommend our products, we also work closely with the Forever living doctor, nutritionist and our vet, yes the products can be used on animals, we do not test our products on animals. I have only been doing this a month and love the products and what we can achieve as distributors.

I looked in herbalife and Juice plus, but forever stood out as the products are so fantastic and the health benefits are fantastic, and so is the company xxx
